Due to the increasing foreign population density in Turkey, the Directorate of Migration Management has updated the neighborhoods where foreign nationals will not be able to apply for a residence permit as of 2025.
As of 2025, within the scope of the new practice of the Migration Management, exemptions were provided for citizens of certain countries in areas closed to residence permits in Turkey.
The report on mergers and acquisitions for 2024, which was examined by the Competition Board, was shared with the public on January 7, 2025.
The Law on Amendments to the Village Law and Certain Laws No. 7534 entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette dated 12 December 2024.
