With the announcement of inflation figures, the <strong>rent increase rate<\/strong> of great importance for <strong>landlords and tenants<\/strong> has been finalized. <\/p>\n\n<p>The newly announced <strong>CPI (Consumer Price Index)<\/strong> data forms the basis for the increase rate to be applied in rental agreements made in November. While this rate plays an economically decisive role especially for tenants, it also serves as a legal limit for landlords. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tuik-ekim-2025-enflasyon-verileri\"><strong>TURKSTAT October 2025 Inflation Data<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>According to data published by TURKSTAT, the change rates in <strong>CPI (2003=100)<\/strong> were as follows:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase compared to the previous month: <strong>2.55%<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase compared to December of the previous year: <strong>28.63%<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase compared to the same month of the previous year: <strong>32.87%<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Increase according to twelve-month averages (rent increase rate): 37.15%<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Therefore, the <strong>November 2025 rent increase rate has been determined as 37.15%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kasim-2025-kira-artis-orani-kac-oldu\"><strong>What is the November 2025 Rent Increase Rate?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Tenants and landlords renewing their rental agreements in November will be able to apply a rent increase of <strong>up to 37.15%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>???? <strong>Important Note:<\/strong> This rate is the <strong>legal ceiling<\/strong>, and landlords may apply increases below this rate; however, any increase above this rate is Rentals Still in Effect?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>No. The <strong>25% increase limit<\/strong> for residential rentals ended as of July 2024.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, <strong>as of November 2025, for both residential and commercial property rentals<\/strong>, the <strong>12-month average CPI (37.15%)<\/strong> rate is taken as the basis.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-yasal-dayanak\"><strong>Legal Basis<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The rent increase rate is determined pursuant to  <strong>Article 344 of the Turkish Code of Obligations <\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>TCO Article 344:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;Agreements between parties regarding the rent amount to be applied
