SSI notifications for employers and foreign employees must be made in accordance with the provisions of <strong>the Social Security and General Health Insurance Law<\/strong> No. 5510 and deadlines must be strictly adhered to. <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Notification Periods to SSI<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For applications from Turkey:<\/strong> 1 month from the start date of the work permit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For applications from abroad:<\/strong> 1 month from the date of entry and in any case 6 months from the start of the permit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Difference in notification date:<\/strong> If the start date of the work permit differs from the date of notification of the document to the employer, SSI notification can be made within 30 days of the notification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Missing Day and Premium Notifications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Missing days to be reported to the SSI are only accepted for valid reasons:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sickness report (from workplace physician\/health service provider)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificates of detention or arrest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official documents such as strike, lockout, natural disaster<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cases listed in Article 74 of Labor Law No. 4857 (birth, etc.) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In addition, even if unpaid leave is taken, SSI premium notifications should continue to be made, except for leaves granted to female employees due to childbirth.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Failure of the Foreign Employee to Start Working<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The foreigner never starts working despite obtaining a work permit,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancel the permit and go abroad,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temporary presence abroad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In such cases, the employer may be exempted from administrative sanctions by documenting the justification.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6.
