Obligation of Work Permit in Sporting Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foreigners coming to Turkey for sporting activities <strong>for more than four months<\/strong> must <strong>obtain a work permit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For activities that do not exceed four months, <strong>work permit exemption<\/strong> provisions shall apply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Work Permit Exemptions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Foreign athletes and coaches <strong>may operate without a work permit<\/strong> in the following cases<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sports activities not exceeding 4 months<\/strong> (tournaments, camps, special events, etc.),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Athletes and coaches approved by <strong>the Turkish Football Federation (TFF)<\/strong> or the <strong>Ministry of Youth and Sports<\/strong> may work under exemption for the duration of the contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In this case, the foreigner may be issued a <strong>&#8220;Work Permit Exemption Confirmation Certificate&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Situations where a work permit is required<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>A <strong>work permit application<\/strong> must be made in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foreign athletes working under contract in professional sports clubs,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreign coaches, conditioners, physiotherapists working in Turkey on a permanent basis,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreigners teaching in sports academies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foreigners who will take part in long-term league, tournament or camp organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
